Website

This page records the technical assumptions of the website. It is intentionally factual and will be updated after the production deployment has been measured.

This website has been designed as a lightweight digital archive for Studio Karolina Fandrejewska. Its structure prioritises text, indexing and selective image loading in order to reduce unnecessary data transfer while preserving access to the studio's work.

The homepage avoids heavy imagery. Project indexes are textual. Expanded visual material is kept inside individual project records.

System fonts are used. No external font files are requested by the website.

Images are stored locally in modern compressed formats where possible. Project indexes do not load image previews. Project pages load selected inline images and list additional appendix images as links with an approximate file size.

Video autoplay is not used.

A light/dark switch is available in the footer. The selected mode is stored locally in this browser. If no mode is selected, the website follows the browser colour preference.

Carbon data will be published after the production website has been measured.

The website should be measured after public deployment. Local development numbers are not reliable.

See Colophon for implementation notes and production credits.
